Social Guidelines
At Passion for the Game, we believe in fostering a positive and inclusive social environment for all participants, including children aged 5-15 and adults. Our Social Guidelines outline the principles and expectations for social interactions within our football training academy.
1. Inclusivity
1.1 We welcome participants of all backgrounds, abilities, and skill levels to join our football training programs. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
1.2 Encourage and support your fellow participants, regardless of differences. Embrace diversity and celebrate the unique contributions of each individual to our football community.
2. Respect
2.1 Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and consideration. Respect the opinions, perspectives, and boundaries of others, even if they differ from your own.
2.2 Listen actively and attentively when others are speaking. Avoid interrupting or talking over others, and give everyone an opportunity to contribute to the conversation.
3. Communication
3.1 Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully with fellow participants, coaches, and staff. Express yourself thoughtfully and constructively, and listen actively to the perspectives of others.
3.2 Address any conflicts or concerns directly and professionally, seeking resolution through dialogue and collaboration. Avoid gossiping, spreading rumors, or engaging in negative talk about others.
4. Sportsmanship
4.1 Display good sportsmanship on and off the field, showing respect for opponents, teammates, coaches, officials, and spectators. Celebrate successes with humility and handle defeats graciously.
4.2 Avoid engaging in unsportsmanlike behavior, such as taunting, trash-talking, or aggressive actions towards others. Remember that football is a game of skill, strategy, and teamwork, and winning should never come at the expense of fair play and respect.
5. Social Media Usage
5.1 Use social media responsibly and respectfully, adhering to our Social Media Policy at all times. Refrain from posting or sharing content that is offensive, inappropriate, or harmful to others.
5.2 Respect the privacy and rights of others when posting photos, videos, or comments online. Obtain consent before sharing content featuring fellow participants, coaches, or staff.
6. Community Engagement
6.1 Get involved in community activities and initiatives that promote positive social impact and contribute to the well-being of others. Volunteer, participate in charity events, or support local community organizations.
6.2 Represent Passion for the Game with pride and integrity in the broader community, acting as ambassadors for our values both on and off the field.
By adhering to these Social Guidelines, we can create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive social environment within Passion for the Game. Let’s work together to build strong relationships, foster friendships, and promote positive social interactions for all participants.
These Social Guidelines are effective as of 20/05/2024 and may be revised or updated as needed to reflect changes in policies or guidelines.
